Richard Childress Racing has one of the most talented young drivers on the market in Tyler Reddick. He initially made the Chase this season but was ultimately eliminated in round one, not entirely his fault, just some bad luck.

At the end of the season, StarCom Racing as we know it will change. They have sold their charter, which means the #00 Chevy Camaro of Quin Houff will no longer be a full-time Cup Series car if a car at all. They are said to be 'ceasing operations' but the extent of 'ceasing' is unknown at this point.
